"I'm Spotts Illustrated" Sired by a National Champion and out of a National Champion, this young stallion is destined to follow in the footsteps of his illustrious grandsire, The Color of Fame. In addition, his dam, Almost Paradise is the only maternal pinto sister of the Color of Fame. Shown only once, Spott was named Junior Champion at his first show. At the 2003 Pinto World Championship Show, Spott was World Champion 2 year-old and Under Saddle-type Stallion. He was also 1st place in Futurity Stallion/gelding 2 and under-Saddle-type. He was also shown at the Iowa Spooktacular Incentive Show in 2003, winning the open Stallion class and the Color Breed class. Spott's first foal to be shown made his appearance at the 2004 NSH Finals----he was the only pinto in the class and one of the youngest---and earned a solid Top 5. |
At the 2005
Iowa Gold Star Futurity, PKH Summertime was Reserve Champion
in the open futurity HA yearling filly class. She also won 2nd place in
the Class A HA filly 2 and under class. (the fillies that beat her were
handled and trained by Midwest--Summer was trained and shown by an amateur!!) Also at the 2005 Gold Star Futurity--2 sons of Spotts Illustrated placed
in the Top 10 of a very tough HA yearling colt/gelding class. They too
were trained and shown by amateurs.
